South Gate man WANTED for murder of 10 month old girl (Suspect photo & car)
The Saturday evening homicide of a 10-month old baby from blunt force trauma has
resulted in sheriff's Homicide detectives and South Gate police officers seeking
the public's help in locating a South Gate man, wanted in connection with the
baby's murder.
Suspect Jose Deras allegedly assaulted his wife and 10-month old daughter at
about 5:40PM, in the 5100 block of McCallum Avenue, South Gate.
The assault resulted in the death of the infant girl.
Suspect Deras was last seen driving his black 2008 Nissan Sentra, black, 4-Door,
California license number 6FYB170. His destination is not known.
Jose Deras is a 20-year old Hispanic male, 5'08', 160 pounds. He has curly
black hair, slight moustache, and a goatee. He has a tattoo of a dragon on his
right shoulder, and a tattoo of skulls on his upper right shoulder.
